The Downtown Christmas Open House has been a yearly tradition in Peru for 18 years, and for the past three years the Miami County Chamber has been in charge of coordinating the event.

Tonight, hundreds of people will flock to the streets of downtown Peru to socialize with each other, usher in the holiday season, to see what all the retailers in downtown Peru have in stock for the upcoming shopping season, to enjoy a parade, meet Santa, and to enjoy all the sounds, sights and smells of Christmas.
