Indianapolis, IN - Governor Mike Pence is directing flags at state facilities statewide be flown at half-staff Thursday, September 11 in honor of Patriot Day.  Flags should be lowered at sunrise and remain at half-staff until sunset on Thursday, September 11.

Governor Pence also asks businesses and residents across the state to lower their flags to half-staff to pay tribute to the men and women who were injured or lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Indiana Governor Mike Pence made a stop at Grissom Air Reserve Base today to thank members of the 434th Air Refueling Wing and wish them happy holidays.

Governor Pence flew in to GARB a little after 2:30 p.m. this afternoon from Fort Wayne where he had made appearances earlier in the day today and was greeted by members of the 434th in a hangar and given a full tour of a KC-135 Air Refueling plane.

Indiana Governor Mike Pence was at Grissom Air reserve Base today and confirmed Indiana had thrown their name in the hat to be considered as a potential future site for a new Boeing Co. manufacturing site.

The Chicago Tribune reported on December 17, “Boeing Co announced on Tuesday it was narrowing its list of sites for building its newest jetliner, the 777X, to ‘a handful’, signaling its determination to consider locations outside Washington state, where it now builds similar planes.”

Pence addressed the issue today.
